IXL learning reshaped the teaching and learning process of children as it bases on the power of technology, elegant and creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems. IXL's curriculum is built on 8,000+ skills that are finely scaffolded to help you target specific areas of need. Covering 4 core subjects, IXL is aligned to the Common Core and all state standards, as well as popular textbook series.
I led in various IXL refresh designs from their new homepage to teacher dashboards, new branding, colors, illustrations and UI Kits. My work took me from white boarding the new information structure, wireframing, user testing, prototyping and final-designs.

New way to learn.
The homepage for IXL is their bread and butter for both new and current users, we wanted a why to cater to both side, one get use news excited about IXL and explore lesson plans easily and have returning user get their lessons, students and dashboard quickly.

IXL needed a better experience for teachers to create/assign lessons, view their class progress and more.

Various design versions & features.
When working on products, I like to offer several versions and or versions with minor tweaks to help better showcase different ways to have a design perform a task, display data to a user or overall how the experience could be conveyed to a user. Teachers on the go.
Designing information dashboards does not mean it has to be only for desktops but with the right grid structures and, break points we can give users a more robust viewing platform on various screens.

Get them hooked & signed up.
A part of the IXL homepage and dashboard refreshes was too redesigning the membership page and sign up flows. The new designs offered new users a means to explore lessons on IXL and once they wanted to get a membership we too wanted that process to be quick easily digested and as little steps as possible.
